This is part two of a series we’re doing this week on the question “How to Network Market?” So hopefully you found our blog here or a video somewhere and this is the question you’re looking for – How to Network Market? Part two; we’re going to talk about statistics.
I think this is the biggest thing because if you know what’s going to happen – if you understand what the numbers look like -, then you’re prepared for the success and the work that it’s going to take to have that success. So, let’s talk about something.
Now, before I put the statistics on the board here, I don’t have a bunch of sheets, and a bunch of studies, and things like that. What I have is experience and I have knowledge working with my mentors and other people in the industry. And so, I’m just kind of giving that back to you. So if I say the word fifteen, it might seventeen or it might be twelve, so we’re talking round numbers here.
So let’s talk about some statistics. Ninety-seven percent – I like that number. I heard this one – of people who begin a business in network marketing are going to quit. They’re going to quit. Ninety-seven percent. Now, for some of you, you just got scared a little bit and I apologize for that. But I think the truth is what kind of sets us free – literally. Because network marketing will set you free. It will create an income stream that is unparalleled to any other avenue that you currently have exposure to or are going to have exposure to. But if you think everybody is going to get in and kill it, then you’re going to be sorely disappointed.
So, ninety-seven percent of people who get in and start their business, they’re simply not going to fall in love with it. It’s going to be too difficult for them. It’s going to be hard, right? It’s just not going to be for them. Maybe they might be just a customer. Maybe they said, ‘Woo! I love it! I’m going to do it! It’s going to be awesome! I’m going to build this thing!’ and a year later all they’re doing is buying stuff. Well, if they’re buying stuff in your network and you’re getting money, we’re good. Maybe they’re going to refer someone to you every now and again. Maybe they just send you referrals. Well, if they get in and they’re really pumped and they’re going to do it, and then they don’t do it but they send you people, well that’s okay too.
The reality is a lot of people are going to get in and they’re just not going to be that superstar that you’re looking for. So, know that. Know that when you go out this week – because I know you’re going to – and you’re committed to getting the job done, and you’re committed to meeting people, and you sign those people up, and you sell them your stuff, and you’re like, ‘we’re going to do it’ and then they don’t do it, that that’s okay. Alright? Because you’re going to have to weed through some people. It’s called sifting and sorting, but that’s another topic. You’re going to have to weed through some people to get to the superstars.
Now, here’s the other statistic. This one you’re going to like. This one is awesome. Ninety-seven percent of the people who stay are going to have ultimate success. Now, you’ll remember in the last video – in part one -, we talked about is it a short term or a long-term business. And we said it’s a long-term business. Well, a lot of people are not going to hear that, right? They’re going to think it’s short-term business. They’re going to try it for thirty days or sixty days. It’s not going to blow up and make the four million dollars and they’re going to go, ‘this thing doesn’t work’. Of the people that make it and decide to commit long term, and they can go through, and they can build, and they build; ninety-seven percent of those people are going to kill it. They’re going to revolutionize their life. Not change it. They’re going to revolutionize their life and they’re going to make more money than they can ever make any other way.
So this is a real true statistic. Ninety-seven percent of people who start in your business over the next whenever you’re going to be in network marketing are simply not going to be the superstar that you hoped they were going to be. But of those people – the ninety-seven percent who stay long term – the ninety-seven percent that get in and they go, ‘I’m committed. I’m going to do it. I’m going to hang in there’; those people are going to literally revolutionize their life.
This is a true statistic. Your leadership may go a little here or a little there – wherever -, but knowing this going into your business is a real eye opener for how to network market. If you know that you’re going to have to go through some people to find that superstar who’s going to change your life, then you’ll be ready to go through some people. But if you don’t, and you think you’re going to put in ten people and those ten people are going to kill it and it’s going to revolutionize your life overnight, you’re probably going to be disappointed.
So commit long term. Know that you’re going to have to work through some people to get there. But know that it’s worth it in the end. So I hope this helps.
